Boeing's OLDEST FLYING (1928) and MOST RECENT (2010)

Just ran over this older email from June. It is still interesting and kind of fun to think about.

Boeing’s chief test pilot Mike Carriker was able to take a brief break from the busy flight test duties earlier this month to fly formation with the oldest flying Boeing airplane. After photos were leaked on the Internet, many were thinking it was a creative digital editing job, but the photo shoot was in the works for a long time.

History of Change

Something I vaguely remember seeing once, and always wanted to see again was the series called Connections. Finally decided to go hunting and found it. It wasn't as long as I thought, only 10 episodes. It was a neat presentation of how things came into being based on the evolution of history. It was the presented and created by James Burke for BBC. Interestingly it is now available on YouTube for free. So now I get to watch it again.

The series information and YouTube links are here:

Optical Illusion - The Hidden Tiger

One of the hardest optical illusions of all time (according to many sites) was created by Rusty Rust, an American wildlife artist. The picture is called "The Hidden Tiger" and is a wonderful picture of a Bengal Tiger standing in a bamboo forest.

So can you find "The Hidden Tiger" in the picture?
